My name is Scott Fremont. Some people–even some who like me–call me Frenchy. I am a professional artist; I am a drummer. I began playing drums at age six, studying shortly thereafter. First under Robert Adney and Joe Pulice at MacPhail Center for the Performing Arts, followed by James Ten Bensel, Gordy Knutson, Jay Young, and Rob Arthur. Then, in Boston, MA at Berklee College of Music with Dudley B. Skip Hadden, Rick Considine, Gregg Bissonette, and finally off to Augsburg College for study with Robert Stacke, Andrew Heglund, Matthew Barber, and Marv Dahlgren. My professional career has taken me from amusement park to theater stage to recording studio to dump and dive, and I take all graciously and with excitement and a gleam in my eye that is pure joy!! References abound. Let’s make good music.
